Help needed for a small project

Hello,
I needed some help with one of my home-improvement project ideas.

The issue that I am trying to fix is to : Fix the gap in the cabinet that happens after a microwave with height : 16.5 inches is fitted into a 18.5 inch cabinet. I need the space filled only on the top and the bottom alone and don’t have any space along the sides since the microwave is an exact match on the cabinet width. I would have loved to do the project myself. But I am juggling with multiple items and I am on a deadline with this one. So I am looking for ideas and somehow who can do this for me. And I would be willing to pay a reasonable fee for the same.

You will need some space somewhere around the microwave to allow the oven to vent. Or could put a series of holes along top or bottom to allow air to escape.

So you can do both by having a piece of mounding on the edge of the piece that leaves a small gap but when looking at it eye level you wouldn’t see a gap
