Hey all,
My wife’s and my 5th year anniversary is coming up and we had this amazing trip to Paris planned. As you might expect, it has been canceled/postponed. Most of the places and things I’d get her as a gift are also closed, not being classified as “essential”, so I’m in a bit of a pickle. I really want to do something nice for her, but I’m struggling given the current state of things. I could just order some jewelry from one of the megastores out there, but I don’t really like anything I can find online. I was wondering if there was anyone out there with their own tools at home who might be willing to help me out with a project for it instead.
I’d like to make a wooden(5th year)-heart charm necklace with some custom engraving/laser etch/ (Wedding date… hadn’t gotten to the text yet), and perhaps some sort of inlaid stone/precious metal to indicate 5 years. I can do some CAD drawings to give an idea of what I’m thinking, but don’t have anything tools print it/etch/carve it, nor do I have a chain of any kind I could put it on.
I’m of course willing to pay for all materials and your time in the event anyone can help me out.
thanks!
Paul
