Any chance somebody certified could help lift my 2012 Ford Fusion so I can install a hitch today or tomorrow?
I’m hoping for help somewhere after 2pm today or anytime tomorrow…
Lift Rules:
Only DMS trained and authorized operators allowed
Only operator’s personally owned vehicle may be placed on lift
Use at your own risk, DMS not responsible for any damage you do to your own property
Maximum curb weight 6,000 pounds
Video surveillance in use, unauthorized or unsafe lift operation will result in banishment from DMS
It is not possible for someone else to lift your car.

The lift class is painless and $50 (one time fee). I can “train” you on the lift tomorrow afternoon.
Or…you may use the floor jacks and stands to do it on the ground in the open bay as a member with no additional fees.

Just in case it’s unclear - @TLAR isn’t taking the $50. It goes to auto as pretty much their only source of revenue generation.

Well worth the cost. The hitch went on in about 10 minutes. Phil helped hold it it place whilec I started the bolts. (fortunately Toyota RAV4 already had welded nuts in place.
Will use again in next several days to get at a few things. Have only used twice so far inabout 18 months. But well worth it.

This was once true, but it isn’t anymore. Automotive receives $500 / month in allocation, plus they are allowed to teach classes and garner honorariums.

About the lift - for sure well worth it. Part of the Ford Fusion hitch effort would have been much easier if the car was higher off the ground than stands. Now I know - best to plan a little in advance, and get trained before it’s needed…
