Wow, they announced the Hellcat Crate Engine, looks amazing, on sale for only 14k. If someone wants to provide the engine I’ll provide the labor for the swap lol
Too big for my MX-5
Is that a challenge?
Little gas tank wouldn’t keep it adequately fed for long.

If you’re not hungup on having a hood, I’ll bet it’ll fit just fine…
But who’d want this pansy-ass @ only 707hp when the DEMON SRT is out there @840?
By the by, helluva find. Please keep us posted if you find a recipient/sponsor!
The funny thing is they will charge you 15k for the motor & probably another 4k for shipping/handling etc.
@Raymond I bet we could fit that in your MX5.
4 rotors, two turbos, 1200hp
How much bigger is it from the LS3 motors?
They have been shoe horning those into miatas for a few years now.
Ok Raymond, you heard it here. If you buy the hellcat we’ll put it in your mx5 lol “fitting” or not
Feels shameful to see that corvette logo right above the mazda logo haha
didn’t know this badboy came in a Heep, too…
4WD BURNOUTS
Gets the same gas mileage as my 2000 jeep lol
you forgot the word “nominal”
Geebuz. What a waste of an interesting engine.
A couple friends of mine had the Grand Cherokee SRT. They loved it and smoking the tires. Then they started having electrical problems, that’s when they got rid of it.
I currently drive my '00 grand cherokee with all of my gauges at 0 Electrical problems are the problem
What, you don’t find turning tires into smoke while driving sideways to be a legitimate automotive pursuit?
I’ll just say there are better ways to watch tires go up in smoke, in my opinion. See the Hellcat’s USP.
EDIT: mind, a bad day of turning tires into smoke is still a good day…
That reminds me of a couple friends of mine doing this burnout. (Outside Paris Tx)
