The auction ends tomorrow. I’d pitch in if anybody has any idea of the following:
Looks like a 25 HP motor. Starter looks to be able to handle 208. Motor nameplate says 230/460. Is this even a possibility without motor replacement? Is there a price that would make it feasible to replace the motor?
Is somebody available to go look at it tomorrow? I would mainly be concerned with the structural condition (no major rusting), and what “needs to be repaired.” Is the drive line freely rotating? Is the head trashed? Are we going to want a new helical head?
It will be fine. It will just pull more amps. I can make any alterations if necessary.
It’s looking like we don’t have capacity. It would need a 100A breaker.
…and a big ass dust collector.
Yeah I didn’t think about not having the available power required. Sure would be nice to have 460/3.
