Thanks for posting the reference document Matt! Interesting reading thus far.

Note to all DMS Members: The DMS-approved list for Lasering materials at DMS is located on the ‘Laser Committee Wiki’. The DMS-published list of approved materials for lasering supersedes any/all documentation found online, including this one. When in doubt, always refer to the Laser Committee Wiki.

That said, this is an interesting read, and I look forward to finishing it.

I didn’t take the time to compare it to our list but it definitely warns against lasing PVC.

If someone has time it might be useful to call out any discrepancies between this document and our policies, to the extent there are any.
