Handheld buffer?

does anyone know if we have a handheld buffer at DMS? I’m looking to polish a midsize countertop.

also where you can buy buffing rouge for something that size, i keep looking but all i find is stuff sized for things like dremels and hand drills

sears carries “rouge” in a variety of compounds.

for “better” buffs (buffing wheels) - I’d suggest calling any English Color auto body supply location.

What’s your logic for buffing the countertop before it’s installed?

what material ?
Alway polish before install, while you have easy access
only need touch ups after when you have limited access

There’s an electric buffer in Auto repair on the shelf by the lasers. You’ll need to supply the sheepskin “fuzzy” part though.

Makes sense. It just seems like such a nuisance though for @zacharymarkson to haul his countertop to the space just to use the buffer.

well the client has a console cabinet that has been “exposed to the elements for several years” and he wants it polished.

thank you @motopilot
