Hacking a plotter?

A time back someone mentioned a program or way to force a vinyl cutter to listen that has proprietary software. I have a Pazzles I lost the software key for and would sure like to get it working without paying $75 for a new license through Pazzles. I also have an Arduino so maybe changing out the board?

I imagine that you would need to change out the control board also. My 3D printer for instance uses the arduino as brain, and a Ramps1.4 board to control the motors etc.

Should be do-able though, and probably cheaper than $75

can you not use this software ($29)?

I really wouldn’t bother at that cost unless you’re itching to learn motion control.

I’ll email customers service and see
