HAAS is offline until we reset all the tool heights, somehow (still a mystery) all of the tool offsets were incorrect by several inches. I reset all the tool offsets to 0 as a precaution.
As of this moment it is a mystery as to how it has happened, I will probably set the offsets again tomorrow.
april 30 at about 10:30 pm some one was doing maintenance on the tool changer.
I have marked it as inoperable on the Tool Status Board.

They are wrong because someone set the g54 height to something other than zero (which is how we use it for the domino project) and didn’t put it back when done. So it is not inoperable for someone who knows how to set the offsets. I will be up there later to set them.

Thanks for the clarification. I set it to yellow (degraded) with the sub-category of “out of calibration”.
Not technically accurate, but at least it would be warning to anyone who looks at the status.
I got the offsets set back to normal, and also adjusted the the Programable coolant nozzle for the tools that it was aimed obviously poorly.
But go ahead and verify before you run any parts.

reverified everthing. set with the zero block which looks like it’s been bit on the cap so be careful when using it. Can be set to all green again.
I checked the vise and it is withing 1-2 ten thousandths from side to side so that looks good too.
Cheers!
