gotFoam? Help On Buying Foam

Hi,
I am looking for some cushiony but somewhat protective foam that I can to make a “pouch” for some batteries.
I use these Anker Battery Pack type batteries for my instrument fx rig. They power the pedal board and my iPad as well. See the attached pic. I want to make a “pouch” for them so when I go to gigs, I have something somewhat protective to put them in.
Something somewhat soft or cushiony, but a foam not cloth. Something that can be cut with a utility knife or scissors.

I know next to nothing about types or kinds of foam. Any help would be appreciated. The piece I have in the picture is nice, but I ended up throwing it away.

Take a look at EVA foam. It’s common in tool cases and similar applicaitons. Closed cell and fairly easy to work. Available off amazon in small quantities

I recently purchased foam and had a good experience at: Foam Products of Dallas. They stock just about everything and sell to the public.
