hat’s hard to “see” in your mind without having seen how it works on a multi-line calculator like the 48G or the 35S.

I don’t remember the number of either calculator. They were both HP, because that was cheaper than TI. They both had all the logarithmic functions and things like square root. It really amazed me how much the price dropped in a few months, and they made it programmable. I never got around to using the programmable feature- nothing we did was repeated enough to be worth the effort.
