I’ve been at DMS a couple of times getting GlassWorks ready to open.
We moved the tables and microwaves apart to allow for social distancing.
The electrical is in for the kilns. The large kiln was put into storage right after the wires were changed to 208 from 240 and a new thermal coupler was installed.
I ran the large kiln with a temperature probe last this week. Unfortunately it is running about 106 hotter than it should.
Evenheat stated they have had issues with thermocouples defects. They are shipping a replacement at no charge.
Jen has moved out of state and stepped down as Chair. I plan to schedule a committee meeting with the election when we get back. I will be running for GlassWorks Chair again. @Team_Glass
