I know this topic has been visited before. I want to gift a membership for a year… and possibly longer… to my brother. However, his address and the billing info on my address are different. I think this is creating an issue at checkout. Am I doing something wrong in filling out the form? It seems the form takes his address as the billing info address. Is there a way to address this? ( ADDRESS… see what I did there?)

Should the bills be unmarked? (Feel a bit iffy on dropping $648 in a box marked “Finance”… Or “Bribes” or “Cash”)

The Gift Card module in WHMCS is having problems.
There are several options for gifting a membership. The simplest is to add yourself as a “Contact” to your brothers account and setup the new contact as the bill payer. Then put your CC info into the account.
If you need help with that, I can help you if you come by some afternoon or evening.
Another alternative is to get a VISA gift card that can be reloaded via the internet and put that on the account.
Thank you for the advice… I have gone through the “Join” in the website…the sign up process…“Order now”… “Yearly Membership”…“Order Now”… “Checkout” … but no where do I see a contact option. Should I have?
Or a check (made out to DallasMakerspace) with a memo line entry and an attached letter for clarification if needed.
A check is much preferred over cash.

If he already has a RFID keyfob, he can activate it from MakerManager, or he can come in and get one to activate here.
