I have a few rough cut gemstones I’d like to get appraised. Does anyone know of a good, trustworthy place I can take them to?
I know from personal experience that few people will appraise rough or uncut stones. There are too many factors that can influence the value of the stone after the final cutting. Your best bet would be to find the current market price for uncut stone.

I don’t have experience or know him personally, but I have heard he is a knowledgeable and helpful guy in the North Dallas area…
