Garland Makerspace is looking for people to speak or teach a short demo type class at their monthly meetings. I really enjoyed going to their January meeting - awesome group of people.

Probably a similar situation to the McKinney Makerspace meeting on Thursday - no “space” yet, just a fun evening teaching or talking about making things with cool people.
The city has been conducting a lot of “community interest” surveys to help guide their funding decisions in future city budgets. A Makerspace was on the “what about…” list on the library survey, i remember.
