Fusion360 Licensing changing

For now this seems OK but I hope they don’t go to far down the path of moving features out.

Actually they’ve been adding features. They got rid of the three different versions and just gave everyone the Ultimate version plus added the HSM Cam. They literally hand out almost all their software in 1,500 or 3,000 license chunks. Not too worried about this.

What’s interesting is it use to be free for under $1,000,000 sales. Not it’s $1,000 wtf Autodesk not cool for regular people

Just a reminder: Dessault donates hundreds of free student/maker licenses of Solidworks to DMS. We also have a full version on our jump server that you can use.

See earlier talk posts on the subject if you want a license.

Guys please fact check…you were only off by a few orders of magnitude…

It’s $100,000 revenue

In fact I believe it’s the same as it always was.

Message 8 in this thread refers to the $100k limit from over 2 years ago. I don’t ever recall a $1 million limit.

That’s for the startup license. The personal license is now a separate license and not full features. That’s the real concern here, is whether everyone is forced to the personal.

I’ve got an LLC I do one off commission work etc on so that’s how I’m setting mine up to ensure I keep the startup version

@Kevin
Apologies I thought you were talking about the startup license.

@hon1nbo

Why go with a personal instead of a startup?

The point is to avoid the personal license when possible.
