I signed up for a fusion laser class, but it looks like the laser is still down. Does anyone know if it’s gonna be fixed by Thursday?
The Fusion Epilog is fine for all of the currently scheduled classes.
It currently etches at 1/2 speed. The machine is having a deceleration issue due to a stretched belt. Another way to look at is the brakes aren’t at full ability. If it were a car, the brakes went from Formula One to Corvette level.
Try to visualize how fast this machine is, and how fast it changes direction. How many G’s?
The Epilog Fusion Pro Laser series has an x-axis travel speed of up to 165 inches per second (IPS), which is approximately 4.2 meters per second (m/s). This speed is supported by a 5G acceleration capability, allowing for rapid and precise engraving and cutting operations.

Thank you for responding. I’m excited to take the class.
