Well, I have to say I was surprised that so many came to “Introduction to Orbital Mechanics” on Tuesday, being as to how it is such an abstruse topic. And I was even more surprised that so few came to “Our Solar System” yesterday (Saturday), the talk with the pretty pictures & so forth. That one will soon be available as a video for those who would like to see it, though (thanks @Heather_Williamee).
I’m already committed to do “Introduction to Space Propulsion” on Tuesday the 1st. Beyond that, is there any particular topic anyone is interested in? Obviously I’m not doing these classes for my own amusement : I want to cover topics that folks want to know about.

Maybe the “orbital mechanics” crowd was avoiding the board meeting…
I often cannot attend the Saturday classes because of schedule conflicts. That is also true for events around holidays as I tend to spend time with family then.
I grew up wanting to be an astronaut, so I am fascinated by these topics. I was once going to be a nucular fizzycyst, so those topics are interesting as well.
I know this is really not the best time of year for it. On the other hand, once I’ve given a presentation, it’s usually easier to do it a second time, assuming I have expressions of interest.
I have scheduled a repeat of the “Our Solar System” class for Tuesday the 29th of March.
