Is this up for grabs??? It is near the freebie shelf but not on shelf. If free I wants
Guess what? The new powder coating oven is being ordered and will make this look new.
If it is free then i shall do that
It is indeed free. Please to take.
Woòooohooòoo!!!
I shall be picking it up tomorrow
Can also confirm it is free. Randy got it from a neighbor, and left it on freebie.
Yes its free, they were leaning on freebie shelf a few weeks ago. I have a neighbor that throws stuff out every few weeks that could be donated and reused. Would be tough to powdercoat, you would need to remove all the old paint first. Could be cleaned and brushed or sprayed with enamel. It would probably cost $100-150 to have them sandblasted.
I left an old steel milk jug near freebie shelf with the table and chairs, saw one in an antique shop last weekend for $300.
Oooò…if jug is there…i shall grab it!!! If I cannot powder coat…i will clean it up and keep it rustic like!!! My daughter will still love it!!!
Dang it! Milk jug gone
Don’t tease us with that! I’ve heard that said soooooo many times now. It feels like I’ve been waiting for the powder coating oven to get ordered for years now.
Its been ordered, expectations of it showing up next month
Yay!!! So what size did we end up getting? I want to know if some of the stuff I’d like to powder coat will fit. LOL
I can’t wait for the classes. I hope for those of us who were signed off on the old one, it will be an easier process than starting from scratch.
Inside dimensions are about 3x3 by 7ft tall. There will be a new gun as well as a powder coating booth.
Booth and Oven are customized versions of larger units, 3x3 dimension is so we are at max floor size before fire suppression is required.
Pictures are in this document, also embedded in metal shop meeting minutes in source. Most of the images of the features are from larger booths and ovens so dont get excited thinking you are going to roll a car into the oven with recessed heating elements image.
You don’t know how excited this makes me!
