Those were alright monitors for their time, and despite the common though, no vcc would not be interested in CRTS from this time period but personally I’d be interested to make a fish bowl out of it.
Commodore monitors are rare and valuable .The ones I had left didn’t sit for 30 minutes and were gone before I left the space. I would not put dead equipment there unless I felt it was salvageable. Next time if there is one I will advertise on the vintage computer forum.
