A friend of mine just took down 3 massive trees off independence and PGBT in Plano. 2 hackberry and a mulberry.
He said anyone is welcome to drive by and take whatever they want. If you’re interested shoot me a message and I’ll send you his address.
The last one is the mulberry stump and it’s probably 5-6ft across for reference.
Does anyone have a recommendation where I can purchase wood for a cutting board? Locally?

Central Hardwoods usually has plenty!
Hardwood lumber company is always my go to. Dakota hardwoods is also pretty good and if you live in Fort worth, the plywood company of fw has a surprising selection of hardwoods.
