Free lots of hard drives (ALL GONE)

(Update 2-12-25: all the drives and bays have been spoken for.)

I’ve collected a few drives from my past RAIDs. All drives are in good condition, tested, wiped with zeroes, formatted NTFS. Kept in well ventilated enclosures in a non-smoking environment. Also giving away a couple of USB RAID boxes.

I’d appreciate if you’d take all the drives in a set. Would also appreciate if these were put to some kind of use instead of scrapped for aluminum. I could have done that :slight_smile:

• Eight 1TB WD Enterprise 7200RPM hard drives WD1003FBYX
• Five 750GB Samsung HD753LJ 7200RPM hard drives
• Eight 500GB Samsung hard drives 7200RPM - 6 HD501LJ and 2 HD502HJ
• Two HITACHI Ultrastar 2TB 7200RPM SATA hard drives - One HUA723020ALA641 and one HUA722020ALA330
• Five 4TB hard drives, four Seagate IronWolf ST4000VN008, one Hitachi HDN726040ALE614
• CINERAID Home 458 empty four-drive external enclosure with power supply and USB 3 cable, complete, works. Handles RAID 1,3,10 and JBOD. USB and eSATA interfaces.
• OYEN Mobius Pro empty two-bay external enclosure with power cable. Missing key. Works.

I will take literally any and all of these if others don’t want/ need any.

Finally have gotten my servers back running only to remember I left all of my drives in a different state xD

(In preference, the 8x1TB, then the 5Tbs, and then whatever)

I’d love to have the 4TB drives. I work with FenCon, and we need some for various computers around the con. The 4 bay external enclosure would be great too.

Looks like someone else has a good use for the 4TB drives. Are you at DMS sometime soon? I’ll hold the 8x1TB drives for you. You may end up with the rest of them if no one is interested by tomorrow!

I can probably make it sometime tonight or tomorrow evening.

Mad scramble to get ready for FenCon is underway, so getting them in the next couple of days would be ideal.

I saved a few for you, along with the two drive enclosure and another goodie. Are you at DMS this afternoon? If not, is there someplace I can leave them for you? I live just south of 635 off Midway, so if that’s nearby you can come by and pick them up tonight or tomorrow.

Picked them up yesterday thanks! They’re going to work incredible in our next cloud server.
