My frankentower has a bad motherboard, if no one else needs it I’d be glad to have it. If it doesn’t work I’m no worse off because of it

I’d love the supermicro! How should I get it from you and what model/guts does it have?

SuperServer -M? That’s some ancient Pentium 4 nonsense. Nasty. If it had only been an X8 series chassis, that’s a proper workhorse.

Supermicro stopped making X8 hardware like 5 years ago. X8 is old now.

But so good, unlike anything Pentium-based they’ve ever made. ragglefraggle
