This is the worst brush shredder on the planet. It won’t even shred a zucchini plant. But it has a 1.6 hp a/c motor and it’s free to whoever wants it. Otherwise it’s going to the curb.

I would like it but would hopefully use it as intended. Can it do at least leaves?

This shredder is basically a rotating barrel with a blade, and the problem is that frass builds up in the chute and it gets clogged. They don’t make blades for it anymore either. So I don’t think it would be good for leaves, even dry leaves.
This is much better for mulching dry leaves… I can do my entire yard in a few hours. Doesn’t handle sticks or branches though:
