A former member of DMS, Jared Steele, will be on Shark Tank, Nov 8th (WFAA channel 8.2).
Jared was a member of DMS in 2019-2020. After learning much about woodworking, electronics and product design, he started his own company Terrashroom.

Did he do the electronics himself or hire an engineer to do it?
He started by himself on the first prototypes from what he learned on his own and others at DMS. Then he hired others to finish out the hardware and software.
A big thanks to @bpamplin for teaching Jared and I about Arduino and sensors, @cghaly for teaching and helping with the MultiCam machine, 3D printer instructors @Team_3D_Fab and many others that would stop by and offer words of encouragement.
This would have been a dream side-gig for me. That’s exactly the kind of crap I do for a living. IoT sensors. I’m sorry I never met him.
