I was in a rush and forgot. I owe for 45 mins and will pay up next time I’m there. Likely this Sunday.
It’s easy to forget. First thing I usually do is pick up a payment envelope and set it with my stuff. Then when I’m finished it reminds me to pay and I can put the envelope back on the tombstone.

I suggested a silly or stupid bracelet that you could put on. No electronics. Just a physical reminder “I was using the laser”. After you pay, you remove it.
If you are getting in you car and you see the bracelet is still on…

I’ve thought about making a small sign (think restaurant table tent) to remind myself to pay. I always remember either a) at my car door, or b) when my head hits my pillow. Would it be okay to make a few of these and store them near the payment kiosk?
