Cool, when is the mica firing happening?
Probably going to do the load and kick things off early Wednesday morning.
Cone 010 is pretty cool as ceramic firings go, so pieces might be done Wednesday evening. Definitely by Thursday morning, though.

Quick correction.
There is going to be a community firing in the larger kiln on Wednesday, and currently we don’t fire both kilns simultaneously.
As a result, we won’t be doing the mica firing until Thursday. We should see the pieces out of the kiln by Friday morning.

FYI - the mica pieces are in the kiln.
I hope to be able to take them out tomorrow morning.

If you didn’t see Christy’s post over on the Show and Tell thread, the mica pieces are out of the kiln. Everything came out quite nicely. They’re waiting on the ware shelves.
