Making talk members only would even more limit our ways of contact. They already can’t get someone on the phone because not many people answer the phone except Stan. I’m not certain if it still rings. But anyway, they would either have to email, leave a voice message or more commonly find someone walking in and out and just walk in.

If the phone is not answered an electronic voice mail file is sent out to a number of folks, not sure to who all. @StanSimmons our VOIP wizard can probably answer that. I know the BoD gets the messages and we answer them throughout the day or forward to someone we think can answer, e.g. donation to Electronics.

Devin…you caught my reading comprehension problem for me!
I meant that this one problem would have been solved regardless of whether the post was restricted or not.
I thought the post was about outsiders helping insiders.
Then you prompted me to re-read OP.
Sigh.
He meant that it’s good for outsiders to see us looking out for each other!
