For sale: 2008 Mazda 3 2.3L 5 speed (sold)

That form doesn’t protect you from anything (unfortunately )
Better to remove the license plates, and have the buyer meet you at the dmv for a title transfer in person

+1 on that.
Just talking this last weekend with my brother in law who refuses to listen to me about that (but DID fill out the form the last few times), racking up toll tag bills on a car he sold a year ago (and DID file the form)…
And that’s not his worst story re: not having removed license plates…

Remember to remove your Toll Tag sticker! My boss forgot to do that and noticed a marked increase in his toll costs.

In the cards once I take care of the next thing ↓

I’ll do that if it’s still there tomorrow.

Requested cancellation of that tag via their website.

EDIT: …and after the buyer’s address didn’t quite check out, I drove back to DMS and claimed my plates this evening.

Do you have CIF? (Cash in Fist) Remind him about our 48 hr tow policy - it starts on the first.

Cash on the barrel head is the only way to fly for cars this cheap. I suggested they remove the car before the weekend is out, indicating the 48hr policy starts then; I believe they intend to get it out today.

It’s already gone. Or let’s say it wasn’t there a couple hours ago.

Don’t know how anyone could buy a car and not take it when the owner took the cash lol. Hope it was the new owner that took it

So showing up at 11PM last night to recover plates was good timing.
