Audio Recording 101
Purpose – This course is designed for students who are interested in using the DMS audio equipment for recording personal and DMS recording projects. This course is geared towards voice recording, podcast creation and interviews. Future podcasting and audio courses will build upon AR101
Goal – Students will be able to understand the equipment needed and basic terminology, and assembly and breakdown of the equipment.
Outcomes - Students will record 3 - 2 minute scripts on the DMS Behringer Podcaststudio + The Tascam DR-60D

Duration: 120 minutes
Cost: FREE for DMS members (Please read lab fee options)
Lab Fees (2 Options: FREE or $10 lab fee) :
No lab fees if student wishes to provide their own minimum 2 GB SD card.
$10 lab fee, and student will get to take home a 4 GB (or greater) SD or microSD card.
Prerequisites : No audio experience required.
Equipment : Behringer Podcaststudio (USB microphone), Tascam DR-60D(2 channel mixer)
