Hi Makerspace Team,
My name is Ketan. I recently left a corporate job (in Automotive) to spend more time with family and design a couple products of my own. I’m thinking of joining the Markerspace – but would like to know if there are active members who have experience with KiCad and ESP32 Microcontrollers? The first project that I have in mind is a Temp monitoring system for cars (would be much cheaper and easier to use vs the data aq systems available online) / second project is a solar charger for e-motorcycles. For an electronics engineer both projects would be fairly easy, but for me a trained ME, they are not so easy— therfore looking to hang out with some experts. If the Makerspace, has active members who know KiCad and ESP32 micro controllers well and hang out at the facility often, I will join! Thoughts? Thanks…
I can help you learn to do it, but I won’t do it for you
Hello Ozin,
Hope I’m getting the name right? The main reason I’m taking up these projects is to learn power electronics and figure out how to move and store energy – so it can be used in Micromobility. To learn I need to do the heavy lifting. Just need some guidance, since it will be my first time designing and testing circuits…
If you click on a person’s “handle”, it will show their profile, which (usually) includes their actual name.
Thank you Beth…
Rich,
When would be a good time to meet up? I’ve done quite a bit of homework on both projects so can provide an overview. I’d like to gauge if it will be a good idea for me to hang out at the shop… If yes I’ll be there 3-4 times per week. Let me know. Thank you!
I’ll be in most of the day Saturday until a meeting at 5PM
Thanks Rich! I’ll see you Saturday. I can be there by around 10 am. Hope this works for you… Ketan
That will be fine.
