So we recently remodeled it kitchen, and once it was done we realized our fireplace looked like crap in comparison. It was low stakes enough that my wife let me take a crack at a fireplace remodel. Well I finally finished (see images). Although I did not install the granite. I am also thinking of rapping the base of the fireplace in the same design as the mantel.
