I was taking the intro to woodshop class with @BirdMan on July 11th, and one of the machines was down. We came back the next day but weren’t able finish completely and were supposed to reach out and do the last few parts later.
How should I go about setting up that finishing part?
(This would probably be better as an email or DM. But “@Birdman on talk” is the only way I know how to reach the instructor. And if there’s a way to message people here, I can’t find it.)
Also today was when I realized that was 2 months ago and not just “like 2 weeks ago”.
That week was when I got my Texas license from out of state, and I think dealing with the DMV fried my brain for some time.
Talk just makes you read more before you hit the trust level to access the DM function. He may DM you, and you’ll be able to respond to that. You’ll get a dark dot … I think on the left top of your letter, up in the corner. Pale dots are a notice that somebody responded to you (you got one of those for my response here).
To respond to a DM, click your icon/initial. That will give you a list of your messages and responses. You can click the DM from there.
Thanks. I just found and re-read all the rules about that. I’ll try and reach that trust level (without spamming the forum) and message him if he doesn’t first.
