Hi, I finally made it up to the DMS after months of lurking here. I was going to take the embedded workshop class and learn some electronics, but as luck would have it I was completely scatterbrained and went on the wrong day. Well, at least I got to take a look around. I had a great conversation with the DPRG and that was some fascinating stuff, a bit intimidated by the software aspect I must say!
I peeked into the woodshop and other areas and while I didn’t get a chance to enter them I was thoroughly impressed. The people I had conned into coming with me were able to get a tour of all the spaces while I was talking robots, and they were impressed as well.
A fascinating place, great people, and looking forward to future visits.

If you want a formal tour I’m usually available at night and on the weekends, but I’m sure some “day” member can give you a full tour.
Hey thanks I will do that. I’m keeping an eye on the event calendar and seeing what is going on. Hopefully next time I’ll go on the right day lol.
