Just a reminder for film scanning this Saturday. Only three people are signed up.
FILM SCANNING UPDATE. I had the class set with a 48hr cancellation to help prevent no shows, but that means no one can sign up anymore. That “feature” on the events setup is problematic at best.
IF YOU HAVE FILM TO SCAN just let me know here or through email at [email protected]. We have four slots left starting at 12:15. And if there is a way to prevent last minute cancellations but still keep registration open until the morning of the event, please let me know. Still new to posting classes.
There really isn’t a way to prevent late cancellations and still allow folks to sign up. And, just because people can’t cancel doesn’t mean that they’ll show up.
I’ve completely flipped the other way. I go for the 30 minute late sign-up option, so that we can add late comers.
With this event calendar, evidently not. But it is perfectly normal on class/event calendars to set a cancellation window and still allow registrations after that window is closed. They just can’t cancel for a refund. I’m only charging $5 as a placeholder, taking no payment myself.
