Filament?! - Suggestions?

I was given 16 rolls (some full, some partial) of 3mm filament. Most is PLA. I’ve not taken a class in 3D Fab, thus never used the lab. Any body have any ideas as to what to do with this?

If you do not plan on using it for yourself, you can donate irt to 3d fab. I would be happy to tak it off your hands, it would come in handy in 3d Fab for the PLA users

I dropped a couple of large bags of filament in the 3D Fabrication lab around 12:45 pm today as a donation to the committee. Enjoy!

Our machines use 1.75mm filament…

I’ve never used the filastruder, but in theory the filastruder can take 3mm filament scraps just as easily as 1.75mm filament scraps and produce a filament that is 1.75mm in diameter, right? Maybe it’s not that easy.

These 3mm ‘scraps’ just happen to be rolled-up on a spool.

And the PolyPrinters are set up for ABS - not PLA.

My 2 cents… maybe the PLA donation could be labeled as such, in order to prevent any of it getting mixed up with 3dFab’s supply of 1.75mm ABS? And/ or stored in a different area.

Disregard the idea if this has already been done. I haven’t been at the space much lately.
