Fiber cable up for adoption

The City of Garland resurfaced the street in front of @ioport51’s house over the summer. When they got to the sidewalk, they accidentally cut the Frontier fiber optic cable. Frontier came out and ran temporary lines from the connection across the street. When they returned to bury the permanent replacement, the left the temporary line behind. Since it’s been sitting coiled up in the yard for over three months now, I think we can consider it abandoned. Before I toss into the trash, figured I should see if there’s anybody out there in maker-land who wants it. Photos attached. It’s an interesting flat wire, so might be useful for an art project if not as actual wiring.
