Does anyone know where the Festool Domino is in the wood shop. I was going to head up there this afternoon and try it out, but realized I did not know where it is located?

Have you ever used the domino?..it’s measurements are metric and and there are some nuances to the 500 and 700 that are not really covered on YouTube.
No I have not. Any advice? I was watching the Festool videos. Decided to wait until tomorrow to go in.
I haven’t had any trouble using it, and never bothered with YouTube. My suggestion would be to pull up the PDF manual of which one you’re going to use, which will be dictated by Domino size. But it’s mostly a matter of setting up your depth of cut, and how far below the edge you want to be, etc. The manual makes it very simple.
They are fantastic tools, I’ve done several desks utilizing them. Use the portable Festool vacuum and plug the tool into that, you can have it automatically turn the vacuum on when you fire up the tool, makes cleanup a breeze.
Check that we have the right Dominos before you begin, we don’t always have a plentiful supply of the smaller ones.

Have someone show you how to use it the first Time.
I will be at DMS tomorrow and Friday from about 9am until 4pm each day. I have been using the Domino for about 3 years now and will be willing to give you some guidance on the use of this tool.
