Federal Holiday?
Just curious. I am not under the impression there is one. Clearly others think there is (not the first time I’ve heard this today).

April 17 is not a federal holiday, but a holiday in DC. This is why the tax filing deadline is Tuesday instead of Monday.
Something about emancipation day, or some such. Federal taxes aren’t due
until Tuesday, and DC workers are off.
Maybe it isn’t a federal holiday heh.

It’s actually a Bad Weather Day so kids get the day off if they don’t have too many snow days.
