Clean on the outside, perhaps a bit less so on the inside.

Not sure, the filter looks to break up the interior build up pretty well also.
This brings up an interesting question though, does our big filter in the wood shop have an occasional knockdown cycle built into it?
Back in my manufacturing days where we used BIG filter houses for ceramic dust, every hour or so they would have a knockdown cycle that lasted about 5 minutes where a few blasts of high pressure air in the opposite direction would drop the fines back down into the cyclone hoppers below.
The Felder system I beleive has this feature.
