Expired/Discarded Items 3-28-2025

Hello Potters,

Remember the allowed time on In-Progress shelves is now 3 weeks.

NOTICE:
The photographed items shown have been discarded.

>Thanks to everyone who did not leave their ware boards on the In-Progress shelves. Please remember that if you take your project off the board and place it on the Greenware shelf, also put the ware board back in the appropriate space.

Label each ware board with your name and the date it was placed on the shelf. Each ware board should have a label. Unlabeled items can be mistaken for abandoned projects and may be tagged or discarded.

         **TIME LIMITS IN CERAMICS DEPARTMENT**

ITEMS ON BATS
• Please return within 7 days to move your item from the bat to a ware board.
• If a project is on DMS bats after 7 days, we will attempt to wire off your project and place on a ware board.

**ADDITIONAL RULES IN THE CERAMICS SPACE **
• Only place bone-dry items on the GREENWARE SHELVES.
• For glazes that may run, bring your own cookie for kiln firing.
• Provide a cookie if the item lacks a waxed bottom and a 1/4" waxed bottom edge.
• Do not store bisqueware on In-Progress shelves. Tagged bisque items must be removed within 7 days to avoid disposal.
• Remove any added materials (e.g., copper, toothpicks, newspaper) from your project, or it won’t be fired. These pieces will typically be placed on the NEEDS ATTENTION shelf with a note.
• If your item hasn’t appeared post-firing, check the Ceramics Kiln News TALK thread and the NEEDS ATTENTION shelf.

We had to say goodbye to these great forgotten pieces.
