Expansion Status - Electricians are done in the Flex Area Room

Pardon our Dust. Dallas Makerspace is Expanding.

The current Electrical contract has been completed in the Flex Area Room that houses; 3D Fab, Electronics Lab, Science Lab, Vector, Glassmaking, and Printmaking Committees. There were 47 new electrical outlets that were installed. We are a little behind in making up the drop cords that plug into the ceiling outlets. This will be done by volunteers. The work tables in the open area can now be used again.

Glassmaking can now operate both of their Microwave Ovens at the same time without tripping circuit breakers.

The next Electrical Contract will be to complete the Warehouse Area.

I am creating an instruction manual for building up the drop cords. It will have the parts list, and correct installation procedures to assure that they meet the electrical Building Codes. Should be completed later today.
