Expansion Phase 3 call for volunteers

We are entering the next phase of expansion. We are looking to add people to the expansion team, we need people who can help with some of the tasks that are coming up.

We need people to help with the following types of tasks:

  • General project management
  • Fielding plumber bids
  • Managing the plumbing service when we select a plumber
  • Fielding ventilation bids for the back warehouse and science area
  • Managing the ventilation installation when we select a vendor
  • Working with each committee that will move to the 102 warehouse to determine their move requirements
  • Printing and eventually hanging the committee area signs
  • meeting vendors that need access to the building during business hours
  • building out the sound room for Digital Media

Can we add the acoustic ventilation changes for the audio booth vent to the other ventilation changes?

“Ventilation” in this context means air exhaust systems.

What areas are going to be facilitated by Phase 3? It may be posted somewhere but I dont recall.

Phase 3 includes the main power for the back warehouse in 102, so Automotive, machine shop, blacksmithing, Ceramics and Jewelry will move. That will free up space for Woodshop and laser to move and for Metal shop to expand in place.
