Honestly, I wouldnāt be surprised if it was thrown away because someone thought it was trash someone left behind. Please donāt take this as me saying your stuff is trash - Iām not saying that. Iām just saying that people see something that doesnāt belong there and call it trash.
DMS has a bigger problem with people not cleaning up, so I canāt quite blame them. Thatās why I always stay with/take what Iām working on with me when I go to a different room.
just for recordā¦ the material i mentioned has not been returned or foundā¦
This green acrylic material was not mine and belonged to @uglyknees , it was to be used to create signs etc fro the creative arts roomā¦
sorry if I upset people close to me with my rant but Im just being honest with my feelings and concerns and since I love this space it is a great disappointment
but hey you are still awesome
Is it the piece of green acrylic that someone was nice enough to place on the āLost and Foundā that I noticed last night?
im not sureā¦ also it was not lostā¦ it was placed in a very specific placeā¦ I just donāt get why someone would go into a room, look on a shelf and take something and move it somewhere elseā¦ i may be a moron with this whole situationā¦ i just donāt understand ā¦
I can only guess, since the only time I saw a piece of green acrylic last night, was as I was leaving - when I checked the āLost and Foundā (like I usually do when I leave).
One āguessā is that perhaps someone needed to use the paper cutter, and if the acrylic was not labelled as being approved for storage in the room, the person who noticed it may have thought they were doing another person a favor by moving it to āLost and Foundā so the piece could be āfoundā by itās owner.
Another āguessā is that perhaps one of the co-chairs from the Fine Arts Committee noticed it, and if it was not pre-approved by either of the co-chairs to be stored in the room, they may have placed it there to be āfoundā (reclaimed) - as was done recently when the Arts Room was moved from where it was in the front, back to the pillar room where it is nowā¦
Again, those are only my āguessesā.
My suggestion would be to store items in your own personal bin in the personal storage area, or obtain pre-approval from one of the co-chairs. In this instance, you mention the item belonged to one of the co-chairs; however, itās not clear if BOTH the chairs realized it belonged to the one. That being the case, it would probably be helpful to label it accordingly. Something as simple as putting her name on it would probably be most helpful.
At any rate, there was a green piece of acrylic in the āLost and Foundā when I left last night. If you are still at the 'Space, you might consider checking it out to see if itās still there.
@themitch22 i will assume it was sarcasm , but its uncalled for and frankly quite rudeā¦ if everyone āfollowedā the rules at DMS, it would be a very different place,
Did not realize how much that song sucked until I played that video partway through. Ugh. I thought it was just that video that was āremixedā, but no, theyāre all just like that, and just as awful. Except the 1hr version. Itās even worseā¦
