Question - - as new equipment comes in, is there an etcher where we can mark the equipment with "DMS"and the admin e-mail address when lost?

There should be a dremel engraver on the right side of the ryobi shelf. I have mainly just been using sharpie based labelling

Brandon - Thank you for your input. Next week, I would order a Tascam Audio Recorder for the purpose of podcasting and interviews.
This is a small unit, and I wanted to etch it so it doesn’t easily walk away.
That being said, do you have any other suggestions?

I have been using the labeler in the electronics room but it is a sorry replacement for “real” asset tags. Although you can laser etch it like they did for the laptops.

Once the laser is back online, I can help laser engrave stuff. I’ve done my own laptops / phone cases / etc. in the past, and it’s very effective.
