I never thought I’d buy my own 3D printer…But the $99 coupon pushed me over the edge. I put it together, leveled the bed, and printed the dog…It took 2.5hrs, but hey I was just sitting here anyway. Pics in the next post.
How did your 1st prints come out? Thoughts? What are you modding first?
I think I may go for the touch screen and make a spacer for the z axis motor drive.

If anybody has a good mod to make the bed leveling easier, I’m all ears.
There is a creality bed leveler tool….I am not 100% sure how it levels but I think it applies offsets in the system that modify the build surface.
There is some G-code that moves the bed to specific locations and awaits a knob click. That is on thingyverseOnce I upgraded my springs I’ve not had to redo the level so far.
