Hello is anyone willing to teach or host a class on the embroidery machine, creating patches, and also the screen printing machine anytime, Friday, Saturday or Sunday possibly Thursday after six at any time thank you

The embroidery machine is currently out of order. Probably a couple of weeks until it’s repaired.

Screen printing classes are available with teacher schedule availability and are posted on the calendar
I also want to take the embroidery machine class. Someone recently taught how to set up your art in the software too and i missed that.
That was probably @Heath. It’s not part of the embroidery machine class.

Yes, the software class was me. I am waiting on the embroidery machine to get fixed before scheduling another one. But as dryad says, the class I made is NOT the machine class. It’s really just a basic image editing class, focused on editing an image so that you can then embroider it.

Do we have access to digitizing software at DMS?
I had reached out to someone on FB Marketplace to have a couple of patches made, but after the digitizing fee was added, it made them too expensive for my needs. If we have a way of pre-digitizing them, I’d love to learn about that.

It can all be done with freeware so you can install it at home. You just need GIMP, Inkscape, and Ink/Stitch.
But yes, those are on the PCs in the digital media room.

Any chance for that class before the machine gets fixed? Or are you available for a one-on-one sometime this month?

I’d be interested in dropping in, but i don’t get off work till 8:25 at the earliest. Tuesday evening , thenall day Friday and Saturday are open.
I’ve set up a class for 6/18 at 7:00pm (should show up on the calendar in the next 48 hours). If this doesn’t work for you, private message me.

I am interested in the embroidery machine sign off too. Is there a way to setup an alert when a new class is up. That way we won’t miss it

The machine isn’t working yet. It’s still out to be fixed. Just watch the Calendar.

On the calendar question , there’s a calendar channel in Discord that announces new classes as they’re posted- so you can get alerts through that.

My Bad; I haven’t logged back in in almost two weeks so I didn’t see your offer. I do appreciate the generosity. I will try to make it a priority to keep an eye on the schedule if you’ll be offering any more classes prior to the machine being fixed, as I am still interested in being taught how to digitize the images. Thank you.
