Electronics Lab Purge - Last Chance to Get Parts

If it is not in the room it probably went to the donation shelf.

I’ve got it I think. Entire box is in Chinese? It was on the donation shelf late Tuesday. I should be at the Space Saturday. PM me to meet up or let me know where to stash it.

Phil

I don’t remember if the entire box is Chinese, but I remember it had some Chinese on it and a picture of an oriental model. I’ll be at the space tonight (Fri.) and might be there Saturday afternoon to evening.

Yes, they did put that on the donation shelf. I will be there sometime today and I will grab it if not already gone.

Yes that’s the one. I’ve got it - just let me know where to stash it if either of you guys aren’t around when I’m there. I grabbed it from the donation shelf Tuesday.

After the parts grab bag galore, we are going to move the white fedex shelves to the hallway outside the eLab. This will provide RFID secured storage for things that are useful and we don’t want to walk away.

Lampy, can I send someone from thelab.ms over to pick up the things you set aside for us today?

The pick/n/pull will go to the end of next week. Sorry I just left DMS, if you can get a member to escort you in ya’ll are welcome to take what you want from the bins/cans. Just please leave the bins themselves.

I’ll be down at the space tonight to bring back the freshly repaired HP 6255A dual power supply and can escort you in.

Raymond

When are the bins schedule to go onto the donation shelf? Tonight?

[Edit: Let me be clear. It is my intention to prevent any of this valuable material from ending up in the dumpster.]

No, we need to offer some to the Plano Makerspace @logicwerx, can you come get what you want this weekend? We have people chomping at the bit.

@zmetzing, I want to give the Plano makerspace a chance to get stuff they want after that it’s all yours. Both in both cases, do not take the bins or trashcans!

Understood. I don’t want to deprive anyone of this stuff, but I do want to be the “disposal” route once everyone has claimed what they want. I am in no hurry.

Once I have it, I’ll do my best to catalog it and make it available to anyone who wants to work with SMT / SMD devices.

We are down to the last few days! Get a trashbag full of goodies for $3. The rest will go to the donation shelf or the Plano Makerspace @logicwerx

Trash bag full for 3$. Man that’s a good deal.

Thanks for everything Ken!

When do you want to meet to pickup? I’m self-employed so can shoot over to DMS to meet you.

Hey Lampy, what kind of goodies could I expect in a bag?

You can expect GOLD!!! Metaphorically and Literally in trace amounts.

It’s a crapshoot of surface mount components and maybe some thru-hole. Resistors, caps, transistors, ICs, diodes, LEDs, and more could be in there.
