Eggbot Hardware

Has anybody scratch-built one and have extra hardware laying around? I don’t mind ordering 100-packs of stuff from McMaster, but if I can help someone out who already has I would like to.

Elliot’s didn’t have a lot of the stuff, and the things I did find were entirely too close to the McMaster price of a package.

I have built a from scratch EggBot from Bruce Shapiro’s old website. The Alegro stepper drivers chips were very hard to get 8 years ago but there are plenty of other cool stepper driver boards now.

@apipe, @nick and my self have also built EggBots from kits by Evil Mad Science. They work pretty good.

If you like you can look at both an old school build and the new one. They are in a box in the electronics room, left wall, bottom shelf. Should also have some demo eggs and sharpies.

I acquired and/or made all the bits except the fastening hardware, using the EiBotBoard for control. All I’ve got left is machining the couplers and putting it together.

What fastening hardware do you need? I maintain a pretty extensive assortment of SAE and metric hardware.

I build an eggbot from scratch and have some leftover hardware. What do you need?

I’ve got to filter through the list, I’ll shoot you guys a PM when I get it together. Thanks for your help!
