Do we have any type of dummy load for some power supply testing? I have a power supply I built for a project and would like to put it on a scope to check out the ripple, etc. The supply is 5V @ 1A max. I can always just hunt around for some resistors but I would like to look at the response over a range of loads so it will get complicated fast.
I don’t know if we have one or not, but here’s a neat project to build to complement your power supply:

Tanner’s usually has some power resistors hanging around if you just want to slap something together. I bought a bag full a while back to put into a configurable load.
The Re:Load is not a bad way to go if you don’t try to get the input voltage too low. (electronic loads often have issues at low values of input)
